Join Bryn, local EOU theater professional in an experience that will teach students the fundamentals of theater. In this series of Friday Experience classes, students will learn how to make a presence in front of a large group.
Blocking, theater games, audition technique, body language, script analysis, character development, scene study, and monologues... students will discover what these theater terms mean as they explore scenes from a variety of plays over the course of 10 Fridays. This acting class will focus on the fundamentals but not necessarily lead to a grand production. This class would be great for students who want to get more comfortable with public speaking, as well as those who love taking part in drama performances.
This course will be open to 16 high school students grades 9-12, and a second section will be offered to 12 middle school students grades 7-8.
