Where
South Baker Intermediate School, 1285 3rd St, Baker City, OR 97814, USA

The history of books and four book making techniques will be explored: A simple folded book, an accordion book, a hinged cover book, and the collector journal. Samples of  other book projects, including altered books and even clay figures with box book bodies will be available for inspiration for students to try on their own (Or for future classes). I’ve listed these as a series because this is what Betty asked for it this way, but individual projects that use the easier book formats can be done. Book crafting techniques listed above, plus a variety of poetry and playful writing prompts to put thoughts both deep and silly on the page. But we won’t just write them, we’ll illustrate and illuminate with all sorts of art journal techniques and supplies.
