Currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer for Baker School District 5J, responsible for the overall financial management of the school district. In addition, responsibilities include management of IT services, maintenance, transportation, risk management and food service.

 

Prior to joining Baker School District, Doug served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for IDACOMM, Inc, a telecommunications company based in Boise, Idaho, with responsibility for business development, finance, strategic planning, and acquisitions. Under Doug’s leadership, IDACOMM, Inc. became the largest telecommunications company in Idaho and rapidly expanded throughout the Western United States.

 

Doug also served as Chief Financial Officer at IdaCorp Energy, playing a key role in the fast pace transformation from a start-up company to a billion dollar a year entity. Doug was responsible for the overall financial management of the company, developed risk management strategies and lead acquisition teams. Prior to joining IdaCorp Energy, Doug held various other leadership positions at Idaho Power Company.

 

Organizations and honors include: Member; American Institute of CPA’s; Big Brothers, Big Sisters, awarded “Big Brother of the Year” state of Idaho; Member; Oregon Association of School Business Officials; Member; Association of School Business Officials International. Doug was also a practicing Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Idaho. In addition to being a CPA, Doug holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Boise State University and has completed Executive Leadership School from
